S GARDEN
2021

Project for the exhibition Jardin Jardin in Paris.

How to bring nature in the city ?

S garden is a system of modular seats, overhung by planters with natural curves, inviting users to gather and enjoy the surrounding nature. The prototype was made with pallet wood.

Development phase

The shape of the seats creates organic curves, and at the back of them, there are pots containing mixtures of plants with different scents and virtues (therapeutic, aromatic, decorative and colorful). The roofs allow to bring shade thanks to the falling plants they contain, and their shape reminds those of petals. They are therefore maintained with the help of pillars placed in the planters, which evoke the shape of tree trunks so as not to distort the landscape.
